Although released in January, the debut CD from Vampire Weekend nicely fills the void for a summer soundtrack. Immediately catchy-the music doesn't wear thin after repeated plays and believe me-I've tried. Equal parts indie pop, reggae and ska, Vampire Weekend reminds us of Paul Simon's Graceland without borrowing too heavily. Prepare to put this in your player and keeping it there for awhile.
