Review - The Ditty Bops: Moon Over The Freeway
The Ditty Bops

The Ditty Bops sophomore release is a great example of digging in the past in order to create new music without sounding too dated. The influences are obvious, varied, and prevalent and they wouldn't have it any other way. Grandma and Grandpa would be digging on this CD and it will introduce the listener to a myriad of musical artifacts worth checking out for their own merits. I could list a bunch of styles that Moon Over The Freeway adapts but what's the point? The Ditty Bops are to be commended for the delivery of this eclectic romp though the past with their unique alchemy of style. Sweet vocal harmonies are abound and vintage stringed instruments from the early 20th century get in their share of riffing. Moon Over The Freeway will make you smile and tap your toes while making us recall great music and memories.
