Review - Suicide Machines: War Profiteering is Killing Us All

I know that most of our readers don't listen to, or for that matter, even like, punk music. However, I know many of those readers do appreciate a good band and good music, no matter what the genre. So this month, I want to introduce you to a band that does it right.

Detroit natives, The Suicide Machines, have been making ska-infused punk rock for nearly 15 years. These guys are not your everyday, Escalade driving, fresh tattoo wearing, whiny, MTV punks. These guys have a message. And, oh yeah, they can play their instruments, very, very well. Imagine that!

On "War Profiteering is Killing Us All," Jason, Rich, Dan and Ryan are particularly angry. And I don't think I need to tell you what the overriding theme is.

Plenty of angst. Plenty of yelling. Plenty of tunes less than 2 minutes long. And all of it is top notch.
