Garage A Trois can not be easily described. Suffice it to say it is a band made up of 4 highly gifted, prodigious musicians each of whom have resumes longer than a Phish jam. Charlie Hunter (8 string guitar), Sherik (sax), Stanton Moore (drums) and Mike Dillon (percussion) recorded "Outre Mer" all live in-studio as a soundtrack to the French film by the same name. This all instrumental series of tracks blends funk and jazz while telling the story or "Etienne," an unusually short and often mocked boy that went on to become a brilliant inventor and father.
