For many years, James Hunter was an undiscovered gem in the British R&B scene. Now a polished diamond, Hunter has released "People Gonna Talk." From beginning to end this is a great record. There just isn't a sub-par song to be found. From a rock n' roll high step to a delicate ballad, Hunter's unique voice, alla Sam Cooke, and skilled guitar playing combine to give us an authentically retro set of catchy and memorable R&B tunes to be thankful for.
