Review - Nine Inch Nails: With Teeth

Once prolific, Trent Reznor has entered a phase in his creativity where rumors take years to develop, let alone a full blown record. Has the industry passed him by? Hardly. While wannabe ganstas and whiny punks are buying outfits for their chihuahuas, Reznor is crafting and recrafting, and uhmm, recrafting his voice.

This time he and Nine Inch Nails give us With Teeth. Full of all the angst we've come to expect from NIN, With Teeth offers a radio friendly track or 2 certain to satisfy either the casual fan or diehard. Overall the sound is full of some of the most original drumming you will hear and takes a less is more approach. But don't worry, it will kick you in the head when you need it to. While I think Reznor has pulled back from his quest to break new rock n' roll ground on every record, on With Teeth, he certainly makes a strong case in establishing a new standard.
