Review - Wilco: Sky Blue Sky

I know the Wilco police will chastise me for this, but I prefer Wilco when they are ear friendly and easy to listen to. Don't get me wrong though, I enjoy and appreciate their experimentation. Sometimes, I just don't have the patients for all the dissonance.

On Sky Blue Sky, Wilco revisit their radio-friendly "A.M." days with an effort sure to garner more commercial attention than they normally receive. Every track is solid - from the stomping "Shake It Off," to the haunting "Sky Blue Sky."

And, there's something for everyone. Hardcore Wilco fans will think Jeff Tweedy just planted a rose garden in their ears, while the newbies will find plenty of reasons to dig deeper.
