With a smooth and warm sound, reminiscent of DaDa, Pete Yorn or Bob Schneider, David Poe has crafted a fine set of material on "Love Is Red."

The Dayton, Ohio native infuses bossa nova with rock on tunes like "Love Is Red" and "So Beautiful." His skills as a mature writer and musician are evident. This record is sly but sweet.
