Keeping with the "what took you so long" theme for music reviews this month, here is another I recently stumbled upon. This compilation from Gearhead Records highlights many garage punk bands past and present. If you have an interest in this sort of thing, "Smash Up Derby" is a great place to learn a few things.

Featuring bands like New Bomb Turks, The Hives, and The Dragons, there is no shortage of pedal-to-the-metal guitars.

Listening at low volumes is prohibited.
