John works as an Information Security Consultant for a major financial institution. He has been in the Information Technology field over the past seven years since graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Psychology. He holds Microsoft, Citrix and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certifications and is currently working on obtaining the Certified Ethical Hacker certification. John spends most of his free time with his wife Bonnie and his 18-month-old daughter, Reagan. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors playing in the yard or watching John fly RC airplanes and helicopters. However, Bonnie and Reagan opt-out of his annual white water rafting trip and hunting excursions. John also enjoys downhill skiing, attending Cleveland Indians games and camping.

John may be annoyingly outspoken when it comes to political and religious discussions. It wasn't uncommon to see his then 11-month daughter sporting politically charged onesies and bibs during the 2004 Presidential election.
